Zamami Island


A two hour ferry ride from Naha, Okinawa takes you to Zamami. We began going over to Zamami for swimming, and snorkeling, then windsurfering and finally we began swimming around the island beachcombing for glass fishing floats.

We liked to stayed at the minshuku, Hoshi Suna. Mark, Sachiko (Our Host), Tom and Rick.

The larger island straight back is Akai. The small island to the left is Agenashuku, back and to the
right is Gahi. Snorkeling off of either Agenashuku or Gahi is a good way to spend the afternoon.
